Artist Bio

Long Bio:

Jess Irvine is the heart-over-head folk-pop singer-songwriter your playlist has been missing on long drives, weekend picnics, Tuesday brunches and every day in between. And yet, she feels familiar somehow...

With a rich, enchanting voice reminiscent of folk icons such as Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez, her unmistakably honest songwriting and performances leave her audiences feeling moved, understood and loved.

Jess has taken to a whole host of festival stages and clocked over one million streams online with previous musical groups The Lighthearts and The Counterfeit Umbrellas, after working with ARIA-nominated producer Stuart Stuart (Sheppard, The Veronicas). The songstress is also a four-time semi-finalist and two-time grand-finalist in the Listen Up Music Songwriting Prize competition; and can be found performing several times weekly across Brisbane (Australia) and beyond.

The songstress' debut tracks, (New Moon, Wild Wild Me and Electricity) dazzle in the world of ‘ethereal, cinematic folk-pop'; brought to life by Nashville producer Ben Kling (River Westin, Kathryn Hallberg), with mastering by Steve Smart (Vance Joy, Dean Lewis) and Mike Dwyer (The Lumineers, Vance Joy). These songs are the first instalments in a collection of heartfelt mantras crafted for the modern-day dreamer.
