Jess Irvine is a heart-over-head folk-pop singer-songwriter with a rich, enchanting voice and unmistakably honest songwriting. Found gracing venues across South-East Queensland and beyond, even the AU Review agrees that this songstress is, “…destined to play on a big stage.”

Hailing from the golden shores of the Sunshine Coast, Jess grew up surrounded by the music of Carole King and James Taylor, and now channels the charm and storytelling of these artists and their modern Australian counterparts such as Missy Higgins and Josh Pyke. She cut her teeth playing in bands such as The Lighthearts and The Counterfeit Umbrellas, and sharing festival stages with The Cat Empire, Thelma Plum, and The Beautiful Girls.

Since kicking off her solo project, she has been featured by Alexrainbird Music, with her original music shared with their over 1.2 million subscribers across digital streaming platforms. Jess has been hailed a two-time grand-finalist in the Listen Up Music Songwriting Prize and held a top 10 spot in the AMRAP Metro Radio Charts for six consecutive weeks. She has opened for globally-acclaimed artists Patrick James, Anuv Jain and The McCredie Brothers, and sold out countless shows across East Coast Australia during her recent (first ever) tour in promotion of her upcoming album, ‘Mantras for the Modern Day Dreamer’.

With an earnestness that shines through her songwriting, Jess Irvine is the sunny songstress your playlists have been missing.
